Frequently-asked questions

  1. Flacon content detection via RFID technology
  2. Patented two-way temperature control system
  3. Venturi-effect aeration and ventilation system
  4. Your wine ready to drink in under a minute

The wine flows naturally under the effect of gravity, without the addition of gas. It is brought up to temperature by means of a heat block, and aerated under the same effect that occurs in a decanter, since D-Vine increases the wine’s surface for interaction with the air. These D-Vine features ensure the wine is served at the correct temperature (as determined for each wine by the winegrower and our oenologist) and properly aerated as if it had been decanted 3 hours earlier. This enhances the wine’s aromas and reduces the alcoholic presence on the nose and in the mouth.

The wine is transferred from the bottle to the flacon using a patented system that has been tried and tested for its capacity to avoid air contact and ensure that no oxygen enters the product. Unaltered, the wine is provided in 10 cl flacons, which is the regulatory measure for wine according to European legislation on alcohol packaging.

The flacons preserve taste quality in optimal conditions for a period of 3 years. We recommend you store them in a cupboard, or other dark place.

Like any traditional wine bottle, the glass flacon can be disposed of in the usual glass recycling facilities, or you can rinse them out and offer them as souvenirs to your customers.

A rinse cycle should be carried out between two different wines. A small amount of water from the machine’s container is used to rinse all the parts that come into contact with the wine. There is no need to do a rinse between two servings of the same wine.

D-Vine Connect is designed not only to serve a glass of wine in the best possible conditions, but also… to appeal to customers, make it easier to operate the machine, and reduce the time needed to pour a glass of D-Vine wine.

To update your wine list, just contact your D-Vine sales representative and the update will be carried out automatically via the Connect feature.
